Kidsgrove look to continue their winning ways as they travel to Runcorn Linnets on Saturday.

Kidsgrove earned themselves back-to-back wins for the first time this season, beating a 10-man Prescot Cables in their last match.

Oliver Jepson and Kieran Brown scored in the first half to give Kidsgrove a two-goal advantage at the break. Prescot went down to ten men late in the second half but nevertheless a strong, organized second half performance earned Kidsgrove all three points.

The opponents this Saturday are Runcorn Linnets who currently sit 5th in the league table, two places above Kidsgrove who sit 7th.

Runcorn are unbeaten in the last three games with two draws and one win. Their last game, a last-minute equalizer from 1874 Northwich denied Runcorn of all three points.

Runcorn took an early lead in the game, but Northwich made it 1-1 five minutes before half time. Runcorn took the lead halfway through the second half before a 91st minute equalizer shared the points between the two sides.

Looking to be a tight affair with both sides wanting to keep up their positive results and climb the league table.
