After defeat on Tuesday night against local rivals Hanley Town, Kidsgrove look to bounce back against Ramsbottom United.
After a stale mate first half, Hanley took the lead through Louis Dodds after a misplaced pass found Hanley through on goal and Dodds finished it. Kidsgrove equalised nine minutes before full time as Will Saxon got his first goal for the club after finishing a beautiful cross from Kieran Knapper.
But Hanley snatched all three points when former Kidsgrove man Jake Twyford, finished off a good Hanley move and broke Kidsgrove hearts one minute from time.
Scott will be looking for his players to bounce back this Saturday against 19th placed Ramsbottom.
Ramsbottom looking to get back to winning ways after back to back defeats, conceding ten goals in those two matches (5-1 vs Witton Albion and 5-3 vs Skelmersdale).
Ramsbottom took the lead against Witton after a Ben Halfacre penalty, Mike Koral scored twice before half time to put Witton in-front and then a rampant second half display saw Witton score anther three and beat Ramsbottom 5-1.
Kidsgrove and Ramsbottom will both be looking for redemption after losses in their previous match.
